2024 Chevy Duramax Problems. Some issues have been reported with 2024 trucks, some low mile strange problems for sure, but considering the number of trucks produced probably not a big deal. The truck's l5p duramax diesel engine received a substantial bump in power and torque thanks to a stout list of upgrades, including a new turbocharger, improved piston.

I was planning on upgrading to a 2024 at4 duramax. Although the upgrades from the lml vastly improved the new l5p duramax engine, a few common problems have cropped up since its debut.
